Paris Hilton didn't change her son's diaper for a month - leaving fans in disbelief
Paris Hilton has revealed she didn’t change her son’s diaper for one whole month after his arrival, and fans are mind-blown.
The media personality’s reality TV show, Paris in Love is currently airing its second season. The show follows Paris and her husband, Carter Reum’s, journey with their first child, Phoenix. Since then the couple has announced the arrival of their second, daughter, London.
Paris Hilton was ‘scared’ to change her son’s diaper for the first time
In the third episode of the show, the mom of two can be seen asking her sister, Nicky Hilton: “Should I learn how to change his diaper?” after admitting she’s yet to change one, 32 days in.
She then jokes to her newborn: “I said I wouldn’t do this on my birthday, but I will for you. Anything for Phoenix.”
Hilton’s Nanny, Gena can also be seen in the clip, with Paris asking her if one side is “the front or the back?”
“I’m scared,” the star admits, as her sister and Nanny guide her through the process.
The clip is now going viral on TikTok, and parents are flabbergasted at the revelation.
“I’m sorry…what. I don’t wanna sound like I’m mom shaming but come onnnn A MONTH?!? Even my husband changed a diaper after a day!!” exclaimed one.
“I feel bad for judging because I don’t know Paris. Obviously, none of us do…but like…really? You never change your baby’s diaper? What?” wrote another
However, other moms rushed to the star’s side: “Seriously moms need to be supportive. She is trying and learning. She will learn like we all did.”
“After watching the whole season I think she wants kids to give them a childhood she didn’t get but is too scared to do something wrong/mess them up,” said another.
“If I had the funds…I wouldn’t have changed a diaper for a month either,” joked one.
The star recently announced the arrival of second child
At the end of last month, Hilton announced the arrival of daughter London, via surrogacy, less than a year after a surrogate gave birth to Phoenix.
The star recently opened up about the difficult decision to use a surrogate in the show.
“I would have loved that experience of growing the baby in your tummy and feeling the kicks and all of those exciting moments, but my life has just been so public,” she revealed.
