Media personality Willis Raburu's ex-wife Marya Prude has revealed that she regrets getting married at the age of 23.

Raburu's ex-wife Marya says she wasted her time in marriage

Marya got married to Raburu in 2017 in a colourful wedding event, but in early 2020, they divorced a few months after losing their unborn child.

The 28-year-old shared a post talking about her past relationship, saying marriage is overrated.

"I woke up this morning with so much to do in my mind, and I just remembered I got married at 23 years. I don't know what the f**k I was thinking! I would be so far right now if I weren't busy serving society and other humans. Their expectations of me as a married woman because I would be doing most of what I'm doing right now to catch up. Alafu pia marriage isn't an achievement," she said.

Marya Prude ready to re-marry

The bubbly Instagram influencer recently revealed that she was single during a Q&A with her fans on Instagram.

"I'm not seeing someone. I'm seeing people, lol!" she said.

Another fan asked her if she still wished to get married again, and Marya said:

"I'm not wishing but I'm open to it if the right person comes."

Marya, ex Raburu moved on and is in a happy relationship with Ivy Namu, a fellow journalist he met at his workplace, and they have two kids.

Marya talks about painful breakup

Previously, during a media interview, Marya Marya revealed that she went back to her parents after her marriage to Raburu failed.

"My father took me in when I was going through some hard times last year and told me, 'I just need you to exist, and whatever you need, I am here to give it to you," she said.

Marya, a firstborn in a family of three, added that it was a difficult time for her, and she needed therapy.

"My father took care of me and my mother made sure I ate and slept. She would cook everything for me and told me to stay with them."

She also revealed that she never introduced any of her exes to her parents apart from Raburu, whom she married in May 2017.
